As well as having weekly shows in various holiday parks throughout July and August (see June Newswire) PBW also still has four more shows scheduled for 2009.

MARTIN STONE TO CHALLENGE FOR PBW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
This past Saturday at Breaking Limits 4 Martin Stone beat Wolfgang to become number one contender to the PBW Championship currently held by Lionheart. At Maximum Impact 2009 Martin Stone will challenge for the PBW Title and face whoever may be PBW Champion at that time.

JOEY HAYES HEADING TO SCOTLAND

The first person to be announced for this years King of Cruisers is a man who will be making his debut for PBW. He has wrestled for some of the top independent wrestling companies in Britain and has also competed throughout Europe in countries such as Germany and Holland. On Saturday 17 October 2009 Premier British Wrestling will see the debut of none other than Joey Hayes.

BUBBLEGUM TO DEFEND KING OF CRUISERS CROWN One of the most popular PBW stars of all time will raise the roof in Irvine once again this year as he arrives at Maximum Impact 2009 looking to defend his title as PBW's King Of Cruisers. Bubblegum was crowned King Of Cruisers 2008 at last years Maximum Impact event as he outlasted top British talent Liam Thomson, Zack Sabre Jr, Bingo Balance, BT Gunn and El Ligero in the annual 6 man elimination matchup. Since then he has been on a roll here in PBW picking up huge victories over Darkside, Red Lightning aswell as former partner and friend Brad Fusion in a match that he had waited over a year for. With both Joey Hayes and Bubblegum already confirmed this year’s 6-way is looking at being our best one yet. Stay tuned to pbwwrestling.com for further information on this years Maximum Impact.

HUGE WOMANS TAG TEAM MATCHUP SET FOR MAXIMUM IMPACT 2009

This past March saw the return of Carmel when she got involved in Sara's match at Dumbarton costing Nikki Storm an important victory. Nikki Storm will get her chance at some revenge on Carmel at our upcoming Alloa show when they compete in mixed tag action. Nikki however is said to have been delighted when news broke of this huge match set for Irvine and is also really proud to have Roxi as a tag partner in a match that will now give her a chance to get her hands on both Sara and Carmel on the same night.

This match will see 4 of the top woman’s wrestlers in the UK today compete on one of the biggest shows of the year and is surely not one to be missed.

DAR TO DEBUT IN IRVINE

The third man to be announced for King of Cruisers 2009 is none other than Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy standout Noam Dar. The past year Dar has been making a name for himself working talent such as Bubblegum, Kid Fite and BT Gunn. He has appeared in companies both north and south of the border such as PBW, BCW and CCW. Regarded by many as the one to watch for 2010, Dar now finds himself in a situation where he can raise his profile to a whole new level by entering in this years King of Cruisers.

BALANCE ON A MISSION

The latest entrant into this years King of Cruisers match is none other than Irish Star Bingo Balance. Since fans last seen Bingo in PBW he has been wrestling all over Ireland as well as making regular appearances in England and Germany. He has also made a point of informing PBW management that 'he got no where in the past because he was too weak and trying to be everyone’s friend and that this year he isn’t here to make friends, he is on a personal mission to become PBW King of Cruisers 2009.'

What ever attitude Bingo Balance seems to now have towards PBW and its fans, it has to be said that he is a fantastic addition to an already blockbuster looking match.

PBW STARS OUT AND ABOUT

A selection of PBW stars including Kid Fite and Liam Thomson will make their debut for Dynamic Pro Wrestling on August 22nd. The show will also feature American Star Kid Kash and TNA Star Doug Williams. Anyone in the Leeds area should pop along and support DPW and the help raise the profile of British Wrestling. Kid Fite and Liam Thomson accompanied by Kimberly Clark will be making their debut for DWA in Germany on September 5th in a show that will also feature PBW woman’s star Carmel. Details at www.myspace.com/deutschewrestlingallianz

Jason Rotanda continues to impress on recent tours of Ireland competing for Irish Whip Wrestling and also recently made his Allstar debut wrestling former WWE star Joe Legend.

OTHER NEWS

PBW management are already hard at work to ensure Maximum Impact 2009 is our best show ever and are currently working on brand new videos to be played on the big screen as well as trying to sign the best talent The UK has to offer to appear on the show.

PBW DVDs continue to sell well at www.pbwwrestling.com with fans as far as Brazil having purchased some in recent weeks.

The Magnum Centre is to be demolished next year meaning this years Maximum Impact will be the last ever wrestling show to take place in The Magnum Centre.

PBW management plan to find two or three new venues in 2010 as we once again look to expand into new areas.

Welsh Cruiserweight sensation 'The Lightning Kid' Mark Andrew appeared for PBW on two recent holiday camp shows and is said to have impressed PBW owner Ross Watson.

Other Scottish Stars such as Kid Fite, Falcon, Micken, Red Lightning, Scott Renwick, Noam Dar, Chris Rampage, Andy Wild, Jamie Feerick, Justin Thorn and more have all been working various Holiday camp shows under the PBW and CCW banner. Check June Newswire for list of upcoming shows.

The SPWA continues to be the best school in Scotland for anyone wanting to learn pro wrestling with over 10 of our students now wrestling on a weekly basis all over Europe.

A recent friends and family night at the SPWA gym was a huge success raising over £250 for The Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy.
