About

In 2006, PBW promoted our very first event in Langside Hall, Glasgow, bringing in wrestlers from across the UK to compete against the homegrown talent. The aim was to give audiences new characters to cheer or boo, and to support the growing wrestling scene in Britain.

Happily, the show was a success. In fact, that show in Langside Hall would be the first of hundreds.

In the two decades since, PBW has built up a loyal fanbase across Scotland. We’ve brought wrestling to town halls, gala days, schools, holiday parks, festivals, corporate events, social clubs, birthday parties, television series, and more.

No matter how many shows we run, the driving factor has always remained the same: to bring top quality, action-packed wrestling entertainment to families across Scotland and the wider UK.

In 2012, the PBW Academy was established to train aspiring wrestlers, further supporting the growth and quality of the British wrestling scene.

There are currently three schools which are based in Maryhill, Airdrie, and Port Glasgow.

Previous graduates have wrestled across the UK, Europe, Japan, North America, South America, Canada, India, China and Thailand. Several have also gone on to work for WWE.

For more information on training, head to our Academy page.
