It’s great to see many of the PBW trainees mixing things up alongside top British talent like Darkside, Wolfgang, Lionheart and Johnny Moss as well as international talent like DNS Evolution and Matt Cross. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Matt Cross for a great training session on the Sunday after he show which took place at the Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy and was attended by all the up and coming PBW stars, all of whom were showing a great willingness to learn from Matt and take as much away from the session as they could. PBW has already been booked to return to Airdrie Town Hall for our last event of 2009 which will take place on Friday 4th December. Tickets will be on sale in the coming months.

Another great outing in Barrhead for PBW with yet again more international talent heading over to Scotland with German Wrestlers Michale Knight and Masterpiece Marsellus making their UK debut alongside their valet , Norways own Miss Mena who was scheduled to wrestle at the event but due to injury could only acts as a valet for the German tandem. Yet again more PBW trainees wrestling some big European names shows that we have a bright future here in Scotland as over 10 wrestlers from the SPWA have been breaking through on a more regular basis in 2009. PBW will be returning in to Barrhead Sports Centre early 2010 with all the top names from around Britain.

OTHER NEWS

Several new trainees have arrived at Sunday classes of The Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy in the past few weeks as our reputation as Scotland leading School continues to grow.

Lionheart is said to be determined to hold onto his PBW championship at Alloa and Dumbarton as he is desperate to seek revenge against Martin Stone at Irvine after Stone attacked Lionhearts close friend Wolfgang with a cricket bat at Breaking Limits 4 resulting in Wolfgang losing the Number 1 contenders match to Stone.

PBW has come to a deal with A-Merchandise.co.uk that will see them selling selected PBW DVDs and us selling not one but both nights of Pro Wrestling NOAHS European Navigation tour 2008 which took place in England and featured world wide stars such as Bryan Danielson, Kenta, Doug Willians, Mitsuharu Misawa, Eddie Edwards and many more. These DVDs will be available to purchase at all future PBW live events.

Up and coming Scottish wrestler and one half of RTA, Shawn Mckenzie has decided to leave the wrestling industry. He trained over the last two years by both Kid Fite and Colin Mckay. Mckenzie, alongside partner Danny Mclean had great success wrestling for companies such as Premier British Wrestling, British Championship Wrestling and The World Wide Wrestling League. On a personal note I just want to thank 'Kenzo' for all his hard work over the last two years and if he decides to change his mind the door will always be open for him to return - Ross Watson. Danny Mclean is now looking at taking on more singles work which will surely be a great new experience for this young star.

That’s all for this month folks, we here at PBW hope everyone has a great summer. Stay Safe
