RESULTS FROM DUMBARTON

Published by Ross Watson

There was a real buzz heading into our final show of the year this past Friday night in Dumbarton. Now that the dust has settled, it is safe to say that both the roster and the fans done themselves proud. Top quality action from start to finish and without a doubt, one of the loudest crowds we have had this year.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you who came along to the show. With the current cost of living crises, we could never have expected such a large turnout, especially with the show being exactly one month before Christmas. We truly appreciate the support from you all during these tough times we all face.

The show was a belter if we do say so ourselves. Our talented roster went all out to ensure everyone had a ball and enjoyed our final show of the year.

Some thoughts from the show:

PBW Academy graduates Logan Smith and Ray Berani have had an amazing year with the latter even being crowned King Of Cruisers 2022 in Greenock last month. It has been a joy watching both men go from being promising newcomers to full blown PBW stars in the space of twelve months. We are excited to see what 2023 has in store for them.

PBW Tag Team Champions Dean Ford & TJ Rage are also heading into 2023 full of momentum after a big victory on Friday night. A victory that saw them successfully defend their titles against The Models who are widely considered to be one of Britain's top tag teams.

Harley Hudson was able to equal the score with a questionable victory over Angel Hayze. Hayze had previously defeated Hudson at our Larbert event this past September. With both ladies now holding a victory over the other, surely a third match has to be on the cards for 2023.

One person that didn't manage a questionable victory was Krieger. Fans were left in silence after it appeared that Krieger had just ended Daz Black's title reign on his very first defence. Our second referee of the evening, Dylan Bolton quickly appeared at ringside to inform PBW's senior referee Sean Mclaughlin that Krieger had in fact cheated. The match was quickly restarted with Black wasting no time at all in hitting Krieger with a devastating superkick/curb stomp combination to pick up the hugely popular win to finish the show.
