Our next live event is exactly one month away today. On Friday 16th September we are back at the Dobbie Hall in Larbert and we have some HUGE news for this event.
PBW management and Stevie Xavier have mutually made the hard decision to vacate the PBW Championship with immediate effect. With Stevie having recently relocated to the USA, it was unfortunately no longer possible for him to appear at our shows to defend the Championship on a regular basis.
Stevie won the PBW Championship from BT Gunn way back on November 25th 2017, also becoming the first PBW Academy graduate to win the top prize in the process. In the years that followed he fought off many challengers in some absolutely fantastic matches and cemented his spot as one of the best in PBW forever. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Stevie and wish him all the very best moving forward.
With PBW management now looking to Larbert, four of Britain's best have been selected for a four man tournament, with both semi final matches set to take place at the Dobbie Hall on Friday 16th September. The winners from each bout will square off one month later at Maximum Impact 2022 in Greenock to crown the new PBW Heavyweight Champion.
