RESULTS FROM GREENOCK

Published by Ross Watson

arch has been very busy for us here at PBW, with our third and final show of the month taking place last Saturday night in Greenock Town Hall.
A fantastic crowd of over 350 excited fans packed the hall as they were treated to a night of entertainment from PBW stars old and new.

In what was quite possibly the match of the night, the veteran duo of Liam Thomson & BT Gunn took on I-Gen, made up of rising stars, Craig Anthony & Kieran Kelly. An outstanding contest ensued but despite their wealth of experience, Gunn and Thomson were defeated. BT Gunn has since been in touch with PBW management to claim that Anthony & Kelly didn't pin the legal man and therefore didn't actually win. Both Gunn and Thomson are demanding a rematch. Considering how good it was the first time round, we think that sounds like a plan.

Another great multi-man match on the night was our PBW Academy Showcase match in which Ray Berani, Darren Vice & John Trettan took on Hank Harrison, Prince Asad & Dean Ford. While Asad and Ford are familiar faces, the other four young men are just beginning to make their mark. They really stepped up to the plate and showed Greenock Town Hall what the future of Scottish wrestling looks like. Well done, lads.

If you missed out on all the action then don't worry, we won't be slowing down in April! We return to Barlanark Community Centre next week on Thursday, April 4th. We will also be in Maryhill on Thursday April 18th and then on Saturday April 27th we return to Airdrie Town Hall for our blockbuster Breaking Limits event!
Full info on all our upcoming events can be found at www.pbwwrestling.com and on our Facebook page.
