Our upcoming show in Larbert's Dobbie Hall will see brand new PBW Champion, Stevie Xavier, in his very first title defence against the self proclaimed "Pound 4 Pound Best" CJ Banks. Xavier has won every available accolade in PBW and, like BT Gunn before him, has all the potential to be a fantastic champion. However, if any wrestler had the ability to take that opportunity away from him at the first hurdle it would be CJ Banks. Like him or loathe him, Banks' talent is hard to deny. His technical ability and use of brute strength is quite different from Xavier's hard-hitting, high-flying style. With both competitors among the very best in Britain, the outcome of this match is anyone's guess.
Also on the card, we have former PBW Champion, BT Gunn taking on Aaron Echo. Having lost his title to Stevie Xavier at the end of last year, Gunn will be going into this contest with a point to prove. Echo will also be looking to continue his solid performance from last year. A win over Gunn could even put him in contention for a title shot in the not too distant future.
