Last Thursday saw us run our fifth and final show of October. We arrived back at the John Paul Academy for our second Summerston show of the year.

John Paul Academy is fast becoming a venue where our emerging stars from the PBW Academy are being given opportunities to impress and grabbing them with both hands. A great example of this happened on Thursday when 16 year old rising star Logan Smith was able to pull off the biggest win of his young career when he earned a victory over none other than 'The Scottish Savage' Davey Blaze. Due to his impressive performance, PBW management are now rumoured to be considering Smith for a spot on our upcoming Dumbarton show on Saturday 25th November.

BT Gunn also retained his PBW Championship on Thursday night which now ensures he will arrive at the Greenock Town Hall on Saturday 11th November as PBW Champion. Due to Gunn getting himself deliberately disqualified at John Paul Academy, Lucha DS was declared the winner. The real victory that night though went to Gunn who made no secret of the fact that he purposely got himself disqualified thus retaining the PBW Championship. It is a sad day when a man once looked up to by fans and wrestlers alike has to resort to such tactics.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff at the John Paul Academy for having us back and to everyone who came along to support the show. We look forward to returning in the not too distant future.
