LARBERT RESULTS (2015-10-12)

Published by Ross Watson

Saturday night saw PBW return to Larbert for our second and final Dobbie Hall show of 2015. Everyone at PBW was excited to return to a venue where the fans have earned the reputation of being the loudest crowd, and we certainly weren't disappointed. The atmosphere in the hall was electric as the stars of PBW did what they do best.

Full results were as follows...

  • Liam Thomson bt El Technico
  • Wolfgang bt Aaron Echo
  • PBW Tag Team Title Match - TJ Rage & Darkside bt Kenny Williams & Liam Lazarus to retain
  • Taylor Bellando & Lucy Cole bt Lou King Sharp & Carmel
  • 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild bt Red Lightning
  • Jack Jester bt Grado after interference from Liam Thomson

After our main event things started to heat up regarding the current situation with the vacant PBW Heavyweight Title.

As Jester and Thomson continued to attack Grado after the match, Wolfgang ran to the ring to save his friend from being badly injured. Jester then took to the mic laughing, saying he was done with Grado and that since he is the number one contender for the PBW Championship he expected to be awarded the title at Maximum Impact. Thomson appeared to take offence to this, claiming that Jester can't just expect to be handed the title. He went on to say that since he was the champion before El Ligero, he would be part of any match regarding the title at Maximum Impact. As things started to get tense between Jester and Thomson, Wolfgang grabbed the mic and reminded both men that not only was he the first ever PBW Champion, but that he had held the title twice, making it clear he feels that he is also deserving of a title shot.

It goes without saying that the decision is down to PBW owner Ross Watson. An announcement is expected to be made this week. It is looking like we are in for an explosive night in Greenock on the 24th October as three of Scotland's very best are gunning for the title.

Once again we would like to thank everyone who attended the show on Saturday and we look forward to returning early next year.

Pictures from the event will be uploaded shortly.
