Final two matches added to Dumbarton card - 02.06.2012

Published by Ross Watson

With our next show in Dumbarton Burgh Hall now only just over a week away and tickets selling fast we can now reveal that a final two matches have been added to an already really strong card. On May 5th Liam Thomson became number one contender to the PBW title and since then PBW management have yet to hear from Thomson or his manager Carmel regarding a title shot. With this in mind PBW owner Ross Watson has signed Thomson to a singles match against none other than high flying sensation and King Of Cruisers 2011 Stevie Xavier. Both men are on the top of their game and this should be a great showcase for Scottish wrestling.

Also just confirmed as promised is a match that will see PBW tag team champion Lionheart in singles action as he takes on fellow heavyweight TJ Rage who will have Charles Boddington by his side. TJ is currently enjoying a run of form that has seen him star in a number of Scottish shows over the last 12 months and he will remember the last time he took on Lionheart at PBW when Lionheart beat him at Inverness last year in a hard hitting match. TJ has improved so much over the last year that Lionheart is sure to have his work cut out for him on June 2nd.

PBW management have went all out to ensure Dumbarton is a show that is not to be missed and with the following 6 matches confirmed we hope you all agree...

  • PBW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - BT Gunn(C) vs Bad Bones
  • 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild vs CJ Banks
  • Noam Dar vs Scott Maverick
  • The Models vs Blaze & Rampage
  • Lionheart vs TJ Rage with Charles Boddington
  • Stevie Xavier vs Liam Thomson with Carmel

Tickets are on sale now at the Meadow Centre priced at £12 adult and £10 child and will also be available on the night when the doors open at 7.00pm. Its looking as if its going to be another packed house in the Burgh Hall and we very much look forward to having you all there for what will be a fantastic event.
