Full results and review from Breaking Limits 7

Saturday night saw PBW return to one of our top venues, when we presented our annual Breaking Limits spectacular from the Vikingar Centre in Largs. Anticipation was high leading into the show as it was built for weeks as a true showcase for British wrestling featuring some of the countries finest stars, aswell as a number of rising Scottish stars who trained at our very own school, the Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy.

Over 250 fans turned out for Breaking Limits 7, creating an amazing live show atmosphere right from the beginning which continued for the duration of the show.

Full results were as follows:

  • Blaze & Rampage bt Project Ego
  • Jack Jest bt James Scott
  • PBW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH - Lionheart & Wolfgang bt Johnny Moss & Mickey Whiplash to retain
  • NUMBER 1 CONTENDERS MATCH - Liam Thomson with Carmel bt 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild, Stevie Xavier and TJ Rage with Charles Boddington
  • Noam Dar bt Red Lightning
  • PBW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - BT Gunn bt Rampage Brown to retain

Pbwwrestling.com firmly believes that Blaze and Rampage must be due another tag team title shot after a stunning performance against one of Britain's top tag teams in Project Ego. A great opener which had fans on the edge of their seats right from the very start.

The high standards continued into the second match as two of Scotland's top performers Jack Jester and James Scott faced off against each other in a very hard hitting match, a match that many fans have declared was their personal favourite of the night.

Our first half main event featured fan favourites Lionheart and Wolfgang take on the imposing combination of Johnny Moss and Mickey Whiplash in what turned into a 30 minute battle. Near the end the match descended into chaos with Lionheart once again diving off of the Vikingar balcony, taking out not only his opponents but his partner Wolfgang and a number of PBW staff causing caranage in the process. Moment lates the match made its way back to ring were Lionheart and Wolfgang were able to secure a huge victory, this has to be described as their biggest to date.

After the break our great fans in Largs were treated to a special attraction when Glasgow based dance troupe the It Girls performed one of their dance routines live at the event. The girls were recieved very well, did a fantastic job and we hope to have them part of future PBW shows.

Up next Liam Thomson with Carmel saw off Andy Wild, TJ Rage and Stevie Xavier in an action packed 4 man match to become the number one contender to the PBW title. PBW management have yet to hear from Liam Thomson or Carmel regarding his victory but Thomson now holds a golden ticket and cash in the title shot and any PBW show during the remainder of 2012.

Our fifth match featured Scottish veteran Red Lightning take on a young man who in 3 months time will face off against TNA Star AJ Styles, none other than 18 year old British sensation Noam Dar. Dar would prevail in this match against Red Lightning, which will do his confidence no harm at all as he looks to continue his European wide breakout into 2012.

Our main event saw Rampage Brown arrive at PBW and instantly challenge BT Gunn for his title. Man mountain Brown spent 2 years under contract to WWE where he competed against America's finest talent. He is also no stranger to the British and European scene were he has faced a host of top starts over the last 10 years. It didnt take Brown long to get things going his way in the match and start to dominate his smaller opponent in such convincing fashion that you could feel the tension in the air that the man to end Gunn's 15 month title reign had finally arrived in PBW. Gunn showed true strength and determination to get back on top for a short period of time before a series of big moves were delivered by both men, just when it looked like his time may be up the beloved PBW champion managed to roll Brown up for the 3 count, for the popular victory.

PBW management would like to take the opportunity to once again thank our great fans who turned out at Largs to support us. As always you guys were great and your enthusiasim for the event and the atmosphere you helped create is truly appreaciated.

Photos of the event will be uploaded soon and can be view right here at PBWWRESTLING.COM or on our facebook page at www.facebook/pbwwrestling where the your favourite photos can also be downloaded.
