Official results from Dumbarton Burgh Hall - 26.11.2011

Published by Ross Watson

Saturday night saw PBW return to the Dumbarton Burgh Hall for the second time this year and while we didnt get the sell out on this occasion we were more than happy with the 165 fans who braved the freezing weather to come out and support Britains finest performers. Full results were as follows * Stevie Xavier bt Red Lightning * Liam Thomson with Carmel bt Noam Dar after an assist by Carmel * James Scott bt TJ Rage with Charles Boddington * PBW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH - Lionheart and Wolfgang bt Blaze & Rampage to retain * Scott Maverick bt Joe Coffey * PBW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH(LADDER MATCH) BT Gunn bt Jack Jester and 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild to retain Some quick notes would suggest that Xavier is on the best run of his career after winning King Of Crusiers 2011 then beating the more experienced Red Lightning just one month later. 2012 is sure to be a great year for this young starlet. It looks as if the feud between Noam Dar and Liam Thomson will continue well into the new year as it was dirty under hands tactics by Thomson and Carmel that saw him pick up the victory of a super impressive Noam Dar. PBW management have yet to hear from any of the men but with both scheduled to be in Barrhead this Saturday surely anything could happen. Blaze and Rampage put in their finest tag team performance to date against the classic combination of Lionheart and Wolfgang. A great back and forth match with Lionheart and Wolfgang eventually coming outy on top. In a true show of sportsmanship Lionheart then took the time to address the live crowd and give Blaze and Rampage full credit for a solid performance. After the year they have had it looks now as if Blaze and Rampage are very well on their way to becoming one of the greatest ever Scottish tag teams. Maverick and Coffey continue to impress with both men clearly working hard on their look and in the gym. It was Maverick who would be victorious on the night but a solid performance by both participants will ensure that PBW fans see plenty more of them in 2012. BT Gunn once again defends his PBW title in a match where the odds just seemed stacked against him. An exciting main event that had fans on the edge of their seats as not only ladders but two tables were brought into play. Can BT Gunn see out 2011 as PBW champion ? Find out this Saturday at the Barrhead Sports Centre. Once again a huge thanks to all the staff and fans who made the night a great success. Pictures by Calum Wilson will be online shortly. We will be returning to Dumbarton during June 2012. Saty tuned to pbwwrestling.com for further details as we announce them.
