Premier British Wrestling returned to Barrhead Sports Centre on Saturday night and once again our loyal fanbase in Barrhead headed out to support PBW with over 200 in attendance. Full results are as follows * Lionheart bt Red Lightning * Andy Wild with TJ Rage bt Joe Coffee * PBW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - The Final Cut with Carmel bt Davey Miller & Wolfgang to retain * Andy 'The Saint' Smith bt Lowthian * 'Old Skool' Colin Mckay bt Davey Blaze * PBW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - BT Gunn bt Paul Tracey to retain With Barrhead being our last show before Breaking Limits 6 at the Vikingar in Largs on Saturday 23rd April tensions were running high. Wolfgang challenged The Final Cut to a rematch at Largs that was accpeted only for Wolfgang to announce that he didnt say his partner was going to be Davey Miller and that was just assumed by The Final Cut. Lionhearts music then hits and together Lionheart and Wolfgang clear the ring of Final Cut. Its offcial folks at Breaking Limits 6 you will see The Final Cut vs Wolfgang & Lionheart and the tag team titles will be on the line. Andy Wilds run of form continues picking up a victory with an assist from enforcer TJ Rage. TJ however was more aggressive on the night at points almost too aggressive for Wilds liking. Will Boddington calm the tension upon his return or is this all about to explode already. 'Old Skool' Colin Mckay once again got under everyones skin with a dirty victory over the impressive Davey Blaze. Mckay hit Blaze with a low blow behind the referees back for the unpopular three count. BT Gunn retains his PBW title in his first defence by beating Paul Tracey in what was a cracking main event with both men going at it for nearly 20 minutes. Yesterday was a busy day at the PBW office with phone calls from Davey Blaze and James Scott regarding Breaking Limits 6. Lets just say that over the next fortnight things are going to get very interesting. Thanks again to all those that attended. We appreciate the support as we continue to raise the profile of British wrestling and our talented roster. Pictures by David Wilson will be uploaded soon.
