Published by Ross Watson

Before we post results we would just like to thank the 220 fans who braved the freezing weather and turned out for the show this past Saturday making it our biggest ever crowd in the Bugh Hall. The PBW fans created one awesome atmosphere from start to finish and were treated to some top quality wrestling action from stars from across The UK. Results were as follows:

  • PBW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH - Final Cut with Carmel bt Andy'The Saint' Smith & Micky Mann with Dyna White to retain
  • Wolfgang bt TJ Rage
  • BT Gunn bt Jack Jester
  • Chris Rampage bt Dicky Divers
  • Justin Thorne bt Davey Blaze, Jamie Feerick and Saqib Ali in an elimination match
  • PBW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH - Lionheart bt Andy Wild to retain

The show wasnt without incident as long time PBW fan favourite 'The Highlander' Colin Mckay shocked both fans and friends with a violent assualt on Davey Blaze. During the 4 man elimination match referee David Miller took a knock in the corner. While the referee was down Justin Thorne retrieved a wet floor sign from under the ring which he obviously intended to use as a weapon on Blaze. The Highlander runs in as the fans think he is about to do right thing and stop one of his star pupils being injured. What happened next shocked everyone in Dumbarton as Highlander used the sign himself to lay out young Davey Blaze. As if that wasnt enough Highlander then proceded to strike the young star across the back with the sign causing it to break resulting plastic flying everywhere. With Thorne now well on his way to the safer enviroment of backstage Highalnder was left to powerbomb a defenceless Davey Blaze through a table. Rampage came spirnting from the back but the damage was done and Highlander quickly left through a side door. The good news fans is that Davey Blaze has since made a full recovery and will be competing in Ruchill on December 11th. PBW managemnet are yet to hear direct from Highlander himself but Blaze, Rampage and other SPWA students have made it known that they do not plan to take this lying down.

Saturday was also a night that saw 6 stars make their PBW debuts as Jack Jester, Dicky Divers, Andy 'The Saint' Smith, Micky Mann, Dyna White and Saqib Ali all made their mark in Dumbarton. We hope the PBW fans appreciated the new faces in PBW and with more debuts scheduled to take place on Saturday 11th December at theRuchill Community Centre, its exciting times as PBW look to head into 2011 full steam ahead.
