3-WAY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ANNOUNCED

3-WAY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ANNOUNCED

Published by Ross Watson

2016 has been a tough year for many people for many reasons. For one former PBW Champion, it has been a year of injuries and frustration. However, as our last show of 2016 approaches he has the chance to turn things around. 'Bad Boy' Liam Thomson found himself unable to compete against BT Gunn for the PBW Heavyweight Championship in Dumbarton back in June due to a recurring injury. Now that he is fully recovered, Thomson is demanding that he is given the title match he believes he deserves.

This posed a problem as a match had already been signed between former tag partners BT Gunn and Stevie Xavier. With both men sharing a close friendship and a thorough knowledge of each others move set, it seemed certain that this would be one interesting and hard fought title match.

Despite this, Thomson remained adamant that he would be in the main event on the 26th whether he was announced or not. With this in mind, management have decided to sanction Thomson's involvement and have decided that BT Gunn will defend his title against both Stevie Xavier and Liam Thomson when we return to Dumbarton one week tomorrow.

All things considered, we can't help but be a bit excited for this one.

Announced so far:

  • PBW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - BT Gunn(C) vs Stevie Xavier vs Liam Thomson
  • Jack Jester vs Aaron Echo
  • Davey Blaze with Charles Boddington vs Lucha DS

Tickets are still available to be bought in person from the Meadow Centre and online from www.ringsideworld.co.uk.

Three more matches still to be announced.
