RESULTS FROM DRUMCHAPEL & DUMBARTON

RESULTS FROM DRUMCHAPEL & DUMBARTON

Published by Ross Watson

The dust has settled after the weekend which saw us run two back to back shows in Drumchapel and Dumbarton. As predicted both sets of fans were fantastic and more than up for having a good time.

Credit to BT Gunn who is now on his second run as PBW Champion. Much like his first run, it appears that Gunn is more than happy to defend the belt anywhere at anytime. Gunn saw off challenges from Krieger in Drumchapel & CJ Banks in Dumbarton. For Gunn to pick up a victory of someone of the calibre of Banks just 24 hours after a hard fought victory over Krieger shows us all that the champion is going to be a tough man to dethrone.

The breakout of Dylan Angel also continued over the weekend as he entered two fantastic performances. Most notably when taking on the much more experienced Davey Blaze at Dumbarton. Although Angel wasn't able to pick up the win, the overall opinion from both his peers and the PBW fans, is that Dylan Angel is the one to watch this year. In a rare move by a man that normally doesn't have anything nice to say, Davey Blaze even took to his Twitter a few hours after the match with words of praise for Angel.

Fans were also given the chance at Dumbarton to wish our very own Noam Dar the best of luck. Later this month Noam will leave for America to take part in the WWE's Global Cruiserweight Series. Once again everyone at PBW wishes Noam the best of luck.

We would like to thank everyone who came out over the weekend at both shows and also to the staff at the Antonine Primary School for having us back once again. Our man with the cam, David Wilson was on hand at Dumbarton. Pictures will be uploaded later in the week both on the website and our Facebook page.

Fans were also informed that Dumbarton was being filmed for PBW ON DEMAND. We can confirm the show is being edited at this very moment and all going well will be available in the next 7-14 days. Stay tuned for the big announcement folks.
