Premier British Wrestling were thrilled to hold our first ever show at a football stadium yesrterday when we presented a 3 match card at Stenhousemuir FC. The show was part of the Warriors Family day and what a fantastic day it was. Hundreds came out many of whom experienced PBW for the first time. The feedback has been tremendous, and we really hope to be back sometime in the not to distant future.
The show opened with a tag team match as The Coffey Brothers took on the fan favourite combination of Kenny Williams & Stevie Xavier. The underdogs picked up the well earned victory to the delight of the fans. Up next Mike Musso took on masked sensation El Technico. With the fans firmly behind Technico and it looking like he had the victory in the bag, Musso resulted to cheating by pinning Technico while holding onto the ropes for the unpopular victory. It was now time for the main event and you could feel the excitement as Jack Jester was about to go one on one with TV star Grado. Early on in the match Grado had the crowd in stitches after asking MC Simon Cassidy for a 5 min break as he had a stitch. This one soon turned into a full on battle as the two men brawled through the crowd. Jester was out for the win and was as aggressive as ever. All was not lost though as Grado showed that fighting spirit that the fans have come to expect. He started to fight back and fight back he did, resulting in in the loudest cheer of the day when Grado managed to beat Jester.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Stenhousemuir FC for having us at such a fantastic day. They went all out to ensure everyone in attendance had the best day possible. Also a massive thank you to the hundreds of people who watched the show. We hope our regular fans had a great day and if you are new to PBW, we hope to see you again soon.
