El Ligero retains the PBW Championship in two hard fought matches over the weekend

Published by Ross Watson

The dust has settled and what a weekend it was for PBW as we entertained our great fans in Larbert and Alloa. A fantastic weekend that saw El Ligero retain his title after not one but two hard fought matches. 2 Unlimited also made their mark in Scottish Wrestling nearly winning the PBW Tag Team titles on their PBW debut. It was also a great weekend for the PBW Academy as 4 of our up and coming stars made their full PBW debut, a massive well done to Lucy Cole, Alex Draven, Tony Martyns and Aaron Echo for making the opportunity count and entering solid performances.

Full results were as follows....

DOBBIE HALL, LARBERT

  • Liam Thomson bt Kenny Williams
  • Kay Lee Ray & Lucy Cole bt The Owens Twins
  • Wolfgang bt Jack Jester
  • PBW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH - Just Uz bt 2 Unlimited to retain
  • Lou King Sharp bt Tommy Marx
  • PBW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - El Ligero bt Davey Blaze with Charles Boddington to retain

ALLOA TOWN HALL

  • 2 Unlimited bt The Coffey Brothers
  • Davey Blaze with Charles Boddington bt 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild
  • El Technico bt TJ Rage
  • Jack Jester bt Kenny Williams

  • PBW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - El Ligero bt James Scott to retain

PBW would like to say a massive thankyou to all our fans who attended the shows over the weekend and also a special mention goes to the Alloa Advertiser for once again giving the Alloa event great coverage and supporting British Wrestling.
