In just a few weeks time PBW will present our annual spectacular Breaking Limits 9 and what a show its going to be. Already we have two huge matches announced that will see Liam Thomson defend his PBW Championship against El Ligero in a ladder match and also Rampage Brown will be returning to PBW to take on Noam Dar.
We are pleased to be able to make a special announcement today. The 1st of March 2014 was a great night for PBW when we had over 500 fans tear the roof down at the Airdrie Town Hall. The night ended on a sour note though as news made its way back to us from Preston, England that our very own Lionheart had suffered a broken neck competing against AJ Styles for our friends at Preston City Wrestling. The news shocked the wrestling world and made headlines across the UK. Everyone here at PBW has been delighted with the progress that Lionheart has made in recent weeks and we are even more delighted that we can now announce that he will be our guest ring announcer for the PBW Championship match at Breaking Limits 9.
Fans in Greenock have been bombarding PBW with emails tweets and Facebook messages asking about one man. We can now confirm that Scottish Wrestling sensation and star of hit BBC One documentary 'Insane Fight Club' Grado will be in action at The Greenock Town Hall on May 2nd. Grado's match will be announced shortly.
We can though announce that a third match has been signed that will see two of Scotland's brightest young stars go head to head. Both are firm fan favourites which is sure to split the crowd in Greenock when Davey Blaze takes on 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild. Since splitting with Chris Rampage last November, Blaze has been on a bit of a losing streak, a win here against Wild would surely get him back on track. Wild though has made it clear that 2014 is his time to shine and will be coming to Greenock with a victory firmly in his thoughts.
