First two match announcements for 2014

First two match announcements for 2014

Published by Ross Watson

As most people settle down for a well earned break over the christmas period, PBW management is already hard at work to ensure our 2014 schedule is as strong as every. Already tickets are on sale for our first 4 shows of 2014 when we return to Maybole Town Hall, Airdrie Town Hall, The Pavilion Theatre & The Ironworks Venue.

We can now announce that two matches have been signed for our first show of 2014 at the Maybole Town Hall on Friday 31st January 2014.

Former PBW Tag Team Champion Davey Blaze will be in Maybole as he continues moving forward with his singles career. Blaze over the last 18 months has became one of the top talents in Scottish Wrestling and has also started to make his mark in England and mainland Europe. His first challenge of 2014 will be a singles match against PBW newcomer Ryan Hendricks. Englishman Hendricks is a young up and coming wrestler who spends his time training between the highly acclaimed English promotion, Rev Pro Wrestling in London and our very own PBW Academy in Barrhead. His aggressive style and dedication training has caught the eye of PBW owner Ross Watson who is said to be excited about the forthcoming singles match between Blaze & Hendricks. Both men are making their mark in British Wrestling and this match has all the potential to steal the show come January 31st.

Our second match announcement today is further proof of just how well the PBW Academy training system is doing. Our recent Academy Attack show recieved very positive feedback from both behind the scenes and from our great supporters. With this in mind two young lads have now been handed their full PBW debut which will happen at the Maybole Town Hall. The cocky combination of Lou King Sharp and Brendan Cooper will team up and take on another two talents who broke through last year when they take on rising star Kenny Williams and Tommy Marx. Much like our singles match above, all 4 men are hungry for success in wrestling, they know each other well and are sure to give it their all as at the end of the day no one wants to return to training the following Sunday with a loss under their belt.

Tickets for PBW Live at The Maybole Town Hall are available now priced at only £10 each and can be purchased at The Simpsons Bakery on the Maybole High Street and also online from our friends at www.ringsideworld.co.uk

The doors will open at 7.00pm on the night for a 7.30pm start time.

More matches to be announced soon.
