Love him or hate him Liam Thomson is a fighting champion. Just this past Friday he saw off BT Gunn and ROH star Davey Richards in a 3-Way match for the PBW Championship in Inverness. Since winning the title in Dumbarton last year Thomson has also beaten some of the very best talent in Europe today including El Ligero, Mark Haskins, Sean Maxer, Wolfgang, James Scott plus more. Without a dount his confidence is sky high heading into Maximum Impact 2013 this Saturday.

This Saturday in Greenock Thomson will once again face one of Europes finest when he puts the PBW Championship on the line against TNA British Bootcamp star Marty Scurll. Aswell as competing for TNA recently, Scurll is also a regular around Europe and can also claim to be part of the impressive Dragon Gate UK roster. Scurll is on the best run of his career and claiming the PBW Championship would see his stock rise even further as we head into 2014.
