Wolfgang to challenge Thomson for the PBW Championship

Published by Ross Watson

Last Sunday over 800 fans attended our second annual Pavilion Theatre event for what was a fantastic show from top to bottom. One of the highlights of that very show was Wolfgang overcoming the odds when he beat Jack Jester, James Scott and TJ Rage to become the number one contender to the PBW Championship currently held by Liam Thomson. We can now confirm that Wolfgang will receive his title shot on the very same month he earned it when on Saturday the 30th of March he will go one on one against Liam Thomson at the Barrhead Sports Centre. Can Wolfgang win the PBW Championship for a record third time or will Thomson once again leave Barrhead with the belt around his waist and Carmel by his side.

Barrhead will also see Mark Coffey make his final UK appearance before he heads out to the Zero One promotion in Japan for his first tour. Before he jets off though Coffey will have one of his toughest challenges to date on his hands when he takes on UK starlet Noam Dar. This match is sure to have wrestling fans on the edge of their seats as two of Scotland's most promising stars go head to head in singles competition for the first time ever.
