NO DQ MAIN EVENT THIS SATURDAY IN DUMBARTON

Published by Ross Watson

Just over one week ago, PBW management received an email from Stevie Xavier demanding a rematch with BT Gunn 'as soon as possible'. Xavier, along with the PBW fans, isn't happy about the way Gunn retained his PBW Championship at Maximum Impact 2017. For those that missed the event, Gunn held onto the ropes when pinning Xavier, making sure referee Sean McLaughlin wasn't able to see this blatant cheating.

As much as PBW management appreciate BT Gunn's hard work over the years, it doesn't give him the right to blatantly cheat and do as he pleases when he feels like it.

After taking Xavier's email into account and once again reviewing the footage from Greenock, PBW owner Ross Watson has granted Xavier his rematch this Saturday in Dumbarton.

Watson added 'If Gunn doesn't want to play by the rules, let's make this a match where neither participant needs to follow the rulebook. I have decided to make the match this Saturday at the Meadow Centre a no DQ match and Gunn's PBW Championship will be on the line.'

With a blockbuster main event now announced, that brings us to a total of five matches confirmed for Saturday:

  • NO DQ MATCH FOR THE PBW CHAMPIONSHIP - BT Gunn(C) vs Stevie Xavier
  • Grado vs Darkside
  • Rampage Brown vs Aaron Echo
  • Lionheart vs Jack Jester
  • Kenny Williams vs Davey Blaze with Charles Boddington

General admission tickets are still available priced at £13.00 for an adult and £10.00 for a child. They can be purchased at the Meadow Centre reception and also online at www.ringsideworld.co.uk.

One more match will be announced shortly to complete the card.
