NEW CHAMPION CROWNED AT BREAKING LIMITS

NEW CHAMPION CROWNED AT BREAKING LIMITS

Published by Ross Watson

With this years Breaking Limits event marking the 10 year anniversary of PBW, both fans and management were hoping for something a little bit special. Now the dust has settled on Greenock Town Hall it seems pretty safe to say that is exactly what was delivered.

All six matches were full of action and drama as every competitor gave it their all in front of the packed Greenock crowd. Fans were delighted to see their tag team champions, Grado & Kenny, retain their belts against the terrifying team of Jason Prime and Rampage Brown. They also saw hometown boy, Lucha DS, pick up the win for his team in what was a highly entertaining 8 man elimination tag team match.

However, as exciting and impressive as every match was, it all came down to two men. A match six months in the making was finally about to take place. BT Gunn finally had his title shot against Jack Jester; the man who had robbed him of the opportunity to win the belt back in October. As soon as the two competitors met in the ring the tension was palpable, and what followed was an all out war. Both Jester and Gunn gave everything they had, with the action spilling out of the ring, off the stage, and all over the venue as they battled it out for the gold. With both men matching each other move for move as they tried desperately to get the winning three-count, it seemed impossible to say who had the upper hand. That was until, using the last of his strength, BT Gunn hit a devastating brain buster on Jack Jester to secure the win and begin his second run as Premier British Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.

If you missed out on all the action then don't panic! Photos by Mr David Wilson will be on our Facebook page in the next few days and the whole event will be available to buy on DVD very soon.

PBW management would like to once again thank the fans who came along on the night, as always, we couldn't do it without you. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for info on all our upcoming events across Scotland.
