Maximum Impact 2014 results and news

Maximum Impact delivered exactly what it said in the title. Over 250 fans attended our annual spectacular on Saturday at the Greenock Town Hall. From start to finish our talented roster went all out to ensure everyone in attendance had a fantastic night. The feedback from the event on our social media sites has been amazing. We would just like to thank everyone who braved the cold weather and came out to support Scottish Wrestling. Amassive thank you also to the Greenock Telegraph and Inverclyde Radio for their support and coverage leading up to the event.

The night was full of drama including a surprise return by PBW star Lionheart who rushed to the aid of his friend Grado as he was being attacked post match by Davey Blaze and Charles Boddington. Both Blaze and Boddington are said to be furious that Lionheart 'stuck his nose in their business'. With Lionheart set to return to action early next year its safe to say he has already ruffled a few feathers in the locker room.

The man being described by many as the hottest prospect in British Wrestling made his own impact. Kenny Williams out lasted 5 other top cruiserweights to be crowned King Of Cruisers 2014 in a fantastic match.

El Ligero survived by the skin of his teeth as Rampage Brown came at him with everything he had. Fans well stunned into a silence at points as Ligero was being kicked from one end of the town hall to the other. Just when many were starting to accept that Ligero's time as champion was up he managed to sneak a quick pin on Brown and escape with his prized PBW Championship by the skin of his teeth.
