2012 saw an announcement that shocked Scottish wrestling when former PBW Champion Lionheart made it known that he would retire at the end of the year. What followed was an emotional farewell at our Dumbarton Burgh Hall show last November where Lionheart thanked the fans, the talent and PBW owner Ross Watson. Many of the PBW fans were devastated that the man who had just recently competed for both WWE and TNA in the same year was set to walk away from the business when it appeared his career was just about to really get started.

Fast forward almost a full year and PBW management recently recieved a phone call from the man himself. This time though it was a more focussed and determined Lionheart who was willing to admit that last year he allowed the negative side of the business chip away at him to the extent where he just wanted away. They do say though that once its in your blood you cant get away from it and thats exactly what has happened to Lionheart. He asked PBW owner Ross Watson if he could return this year and Watson jumped at the opportunity to have one of the biggest stars in British Wrestling back on his full time roster.

With this in mind we can now proudly announce that Lionheart will return to PBW on Saturday 2nd November at The Greenock Town Hall when we present our annual spectacular Maximum Impact 2013.
